This is an exciting opportunity in Columbus, Indiana for a talented Data Scientist Director- Senior Technical Leader.

Your impact will happen in these and other ways:

Designs and guides advanced analytics projects which solve complex analytical problems using quantitative approaches through a combination of analytical, mathematical and technical skills.

Defines the research, design, implementation and validation of cutting-edge algorithms to analyze diverse sources of data to achieve targeted outcomes by leveraging complex statistical and predictive modeling concepts, machine-learning approaches, clustering and classification techniques.

Liases with business stakeholders and leverages business knowledge to define the strategy and vision for advanced analytics.

Decides which key objectives and business goals will be worked through the use of data science methodology

Defines data science methodology for more complex business problems

Decides which algorithms and more complex statistical methodologies should be applied through the use of statistical programming languages and tools

Partners with domain experts to verify model capabilities and translate modeling outputs from statistical inferences into business language

Partners with IT resources to enable appropriate data flow/data model, development using appropriate tools/technology, rapid prototyping and informs the design of analytical products

Coach and Develops employees on data science tools and methodologies

Organizes data science and advanced analytics people and processes to execute on the work required to meet goal tree objectives

Qualifications

Education, Licenses, Certifications

College, university, or equivalent degree in statistics, information systems or related field required. PhD or Master’s degree in Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, or equivialent experience preferred

Experience

Minimum of 9 years of professional experience

Compensation and Benefits

Base annual salary commensurate with experience plus annual variable compensation.
