Program Management Director - Business Process Transformation (remote option)


We are looking for a talented Business Process Transformation (BPT) Program Management Office Leader to join our Corporate Supply Chain business specializing in process transformation on a global enterprise scale located in Columbus, IN (remote option).

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Leads, manages, and strategically directs the project management department activities for assigned functional areas.

  • Partners with business leaders to identify short and long-term projects to be undertaken; directs needs analysis in collaboration with business leaders to determine project timelines; oversees analysis, project identification, design, budget, communication, and integration; approves business workflow and project design.

  • Define and maintain standards for execution of 35 Business Process Transformation (BPT) programs companywide, enabling teams to deliver value.

  • Coach program leaders in setup and execution, providing expert support and holding program leaders accountable for commitments.

  • Chair cross-program BPT PMO reviews focused on managing portfolio and program risks and interdependencies. Conduct program readiness reviews and interdependency workshops.

  • Escalate program issues in a timely manner to BPT Steering Committee for support and resolution. Inform leadership stakeholders of portfolio and program accomplishments, issues, and watchouts.

  • Process owner of BPT Project Management (BPTM), Cummins standard methodology for delivering value through process transformation.

Education, Licenses, Certifications

University, or equivalent degree required.

This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.


Significant experience of minimum 10 years, including managerial and budgetary experience, required. Broad business knowledge required.

  • Strong leadership skills - fostering open communication, managing conflict and complexity, coaching, and influencing diverse stakeholders, driving accountability, executive communication

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
