We are looking for a talented Senior Supplier Quality Improvement Engineer for Overhead/Power Cylinder Team within the Manufactured Materials Group based in Columbus Indiana or from your remote home office.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Knowledge and execution of the SQI function including VPI (New Products), High Risk products/suppliers, product reliability. APQP, PPAP and manufacturing processes to deliver Zero Defects.
Knowledge of various metallic materials such as aluminum, cast iron, steel and key processes - forging, casting, coating, plating, heat treatment, tempering and other related manufacturing processes.
Understanding of complex print dimensioning and GD&T and the various measurement techniques.
Ability to create and manage action item lists to facilitate cross-functional meetings related to product issues and improvement projects
Flexibility to lead and attend meetings outside of normal business hours to accommodate our overseas suppliers and peers
Willingness to travel within and outside the US, which at times can be on very short notice
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
College, university, or equivalent degree in Engineering or a related technical or scientific subject required.
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Three (3) years of relevant work experience required.

Compensation and Benefits
Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
