START HERE- We are looking for a Quality and Analytics Manager to join our team specializing in Quality for our Corporate/ CBS Segment in Memphis, TN
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Manages the assurance of continuous improvement toward defect-free processes that meet or exceed customer needs in the supported plant. Responsible for the overall assessment and improvement of the people capabilities, processes, and tools that are critical to the quality assurance programs and processes.
Manages the resolution and follow-up of quality issues with internal and external customers and suppliers.
Manages, mentors, and develops staff; leads the assessment and establishment of education, training, and skills profiles for quality professionals.
Participates in project selection and analysis; advises staff on prioritization of projects.
Oversees projects budget progress and leads cost control activities for assigned teams.
Reinforces customer-led quality focus in the supported organization.
- Establishes and maintains quality assurance standards, procedures, and controls.
Serves as a key quality representative for supplier and customer audits.
Manages post-implementation exercises to identify strengths and opportunities for improvement.
- Follows Six Sigma methodologies in the process of identifying, selecting, tracking, progressing through, and assessing the success of projects and initiatives.

Quality Leadership (Cummins Operating System) - Demonstrates knowledge of the Cummins Operating System, quality management systems by applying the ten practices to assess business segment and functional performance, set strategy aligned with business needs and create consistency of purpose for continuously improving products, processes, services; enables data driven decision making and removes barriers to enable individuals to have line of sight to the customer; uses metrics to drive continuous improvement.
Quality System Management - Guides in the practice and application of quality management system standards required by international certification bodies, industry specific regulatory authorities and customer's contractually specified requirements.
Education, Licenses, Certifications
College, university, or equivalent degree required.
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Experience
Significant level of relevant work experience, including supervisory experience, required.
Customer Claim Process management for MDC and INDY(Future) sites
Strong collaboration with other CMI teams and 3PL partners
Responsible for site DPMO improvement
Identify improvement opportunities by using customer claims and performing descriptive, predictive and prescriptive analytics.
Responsible for claim resolution cycle time
Understand customer needs and requirements to develop effective quality control processes.

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
