This is an exciting opportunity for Quality Business Manager #NC028 in Whitakers, North Carolina
Your impact will happen in these and other ways:
In a non-plant environment, lead the development and maintenance of continuous improvement actions, tools and capabilities in support of deficit-free processes that meet or exceed customer expectations and achieve business results.
Develop employees in the delivery of quality functional excellence and delivery of satisfactory product quality with AIAG Core Tools Expectation which is used in support of the automotive preferred quality system ISO/TS 16949.
Collaborate with business management and line leaders to develop quality goals and objectives for the business.
Utilize Six Sigma tools to integrate statistical tools into the Product Proceeding Technology process to achieve predictive design quality and meet Voice of the Customer.
Use additional Six Sigma tools such as Define, Measure Analyze Improve, Control (DMAIC) Six Sigma using statistically-based tools to approach enterprise-wide quality and improvement variation reduction.
Lead the continuous improvement project selection and priority settings process in assigned areas.
Plan, establish, manage and track the continuous improvement via project completion and implementation and Corrective and Preventative Action processes related to problem solving and quality improvement.
Assess team member developmental needs and provide opportunities as they related to the needs of the business.
Lead quality assessments and utilize Auditing Fundamentals including knowledge of processes, training and participation to perform audits focused on processes critical to customer and business success.
Organize post-implementation exercises to identify strengths and opportunities for improvement.
Skills and Experience Required:
AIAG Core Tools Expectation
Automotive preferred quality system ISO/TS 16949
Product Proceeding Technology process
Voice of the Customer
Define, Measure Analyze Improve, Control (DMAIC) Six Sigma
Corrective and Preventative Action processes
Auditing Fundamentals including knowledge of processes, training and participation
Required Education, Licenses or Certifications
Positions require aMaster’s degree in Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering or related fieldand3 years of experience as a Quality Engineer or related field.
Alternatively, the employer will accept aBachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering or related field and 5 years of experience as a Quality Engineer or related position.JOB SITE: Whitakers, North Carolina
WORK HOURS: 40 hours/week - 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

Compensation and Benefits
Base hourly rate commensurate with experience plus bonus.
