Quality System Technician Level III


We are looking for a talented Quality Systems Technician to join our team specializing in auditing for our Rocky Mount Engine Plant in NC.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Responsible for conducting Manufacturing Process Audits in the organization

  • Ability to understand the manufacturing processes, what a risk analysis is and how to audit to it.

  • Ability to read documents and apply them to the audit process. Including control plans. PFMEAs, Work Instructions, etc.

  • Skilled at working in a high paced, fluid environment, focusing on results

  • Follow audit trails and create audit reports in a timely manner.

  • Initiate, approve and monitor corrective actions associated with the audit findings.

  • Ability to create effective Root Cause Analysis (3P5Y) as required

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to maintain schedule

  • Ability to be flexible, resourceful and professional

  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel and management

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • Experienced in audit performance is highly preferred

  • Familiarity with corrective actions associated with audit findings

  • Understanding of Key Processes and documentation used in a manufacturing environment

  • Ability to develop effective statements of findings and strong written and verbal communications related to audit

  • Competent in people skills related to asking questions and obtaining useful responses

  • Problem solving skills and data analysis is strongly preferred

  • Strong written skills and ability to develop grammatically correct documents with little supervision

  • Strong report building skills

  • Excel, Word, Power Point, Teams, and Outlook experience necessary

Education, Certifications

  • High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.

  • This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

  • Associate Degree or equivalent business experience.

  • IATF 16949 and ISO 9001:2015 Internal Auditor trained is a plus.

  • This is a 1st shift position with the ability to be flexible with on occasion working 2nd or 3rd shift, starting wages are $23 hourly and above depending on experience

  • Desire to obtain compliance certifications to the standards as required (with training)

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
