Quality System Technician Level IV

Description

We are looking for a talented Quality System Technician to join our team at our Rocky Mount Engine Plant

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

• Responsible of conducting internal audits (QMS, Mfg Process Audits, Product Audits) in an organization.

• Plan and lead trainings, root cause and analysis and resolution of non-conformances.

• Demonstrate technical understanding of mfg processes, its risk analysis and control plans

• When needed, help conduct PQC (Product Quality Council), pull together presentation of management review etc.

• Maintain the knowledge of relevant requirements based on internal changes (process and product technologies) and external changes (ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AIAG core tools, and Customer Specific Requirements (CSR))

• Able to perform audits with process-based approach and risk based thinking.

• Own and maintain audit plan/schedule (for both ISO/IATF Internal Audits and Manufacturing Process Audits) document and audit records.

• Plan, perform and lead (if that applies) different QMS audits (QMS, Mfg process audits, product) per ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 and issue OFIs and Non-Conformances as needed.

• Identify GAPs within the plant to the standard and work projects to close those GAPS.Provide information, as necessary, to external auditors or Certification Bodies, complying with content, timing, and format requirements.

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

• Associate degree or equivalent business experience. I

• ATF 16949 ISO 9001 Internal Auditor Trained.

• Six Sigma Green Belt trained and willing to work towards certification.

• AIAG core tools (APQP, PPAP, SPC, FMEA, and MSA) trained

• Demonstrated ability to perform process based and risk based audits.

• Performed Product Audits per applicable CSRs

• Provided support to documentation on the key processes per business quality manual

• When conducted mfg process audits, demonstrated in-depth understanding of processes and associated risk analyses (FMEA and control plan)

• Exhibited good understanding of QMS tools such as QSi, CQMS etc.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary rate commensurate with experience. Education, Licenses, Certifications

This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience

Demostrated ability to perform process based and risk based audits.

Initiated, approved and monitored corrective actions associated with audit findings.

Planned, performed and led different QMS audits based upon IATF 16949 and ISO 9001.

Performed training on AIAG core tools (APQP, PPAP, MSA, SPC and FMEA)

Performed Product Audits per applicable CSRs

Led 3P-5Whys root cause analysis

Provided support to documentation on the key processes per business quality manual

When conducted mfg process audits, demonstrated in-depth understanding of processes and associated risk analyses (FMEA and control plan)

Exibited good understanding of QMS tools such as QSi, CQMS etc.

When needed performed CQMS admin training.
