Description
Job Summary:
Supports Engineers in carrying out warranty-related verification and inspection jobs;
Assists in check and verify engine quality in aftermarket and making investigation report;
Ensures maintenance of documentation and records.
Works individual without supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
Compares the physical characteristics of components, materials, equipment and products to technical specifications to identify defects.
Conducts simple tests (for example on electrical function, reliability, A-B-A test). Records results and prepare related reports.
Provides product and component testing using a range of measurement equipment.
Provides advanced programming, training, and operation of measurement and test equipment.
Assists customers in understanding/interpreting product specifications and application of
measurement data.
Assists with return parts inspection and verification, and recovery parts management.
Tracking and monitor 7 step reports CT and alert.

Laboratory Management - Leads technical resources while managing the business aspects of a laboratory using measure to control both the technical and business aspects of the organization and assuring the requirements of the appropriate certifications and/or accreditations are met.
Quality Process Management - Applies and manages methods (e.g. SPC, Capability studies, Layered Process Audit, inspection, test) to ensure quality of Cummins products, processes, and services.
