This is an exciting opportunity in Stoughton, Wisconsin for a Change Control Specialist.
Cummins USA is where you can work on industry leading engineering projects such as New Product Development, Value Package Introduction and Systems Product Validation.
Your impact will happen in these and other ways:
The person in this role is responsible for:
Management of the VPC (Value Package Change) process for assigned lines of business (VPC group)
Work cross functionally to insure that all actions have been performed to review and approve change requests
Enter approved change requests into the PTC Windchill database
Ownership and accountability for an assigned VPC group
Lead weekly VPCR committee meetings for assigned VPC group
Ensure receipt of accurate and timely responses from appropriate functional groups
Maintain committee meeting notes, related databases and other records
Gather all necessary information to write a Change Request and enter into PTC Windchill
Coordinate with VPC change managers in all global regions to share information when needed
Mentor and train VPCR users on the VPC processes and CAPPM database
Recommend and lead VPC process improvement activities
Serve as a backup for other VPCR Coordinators
Minimum Associates degree or two years of relevant experience in a related field
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experienced in Microsoft Office
Strong problem-solving skills
Strong organizational skills
Ability to engage all functional areas to achieve project delivery results
Ability to interact with appropriate management levels to resolve issues
Compensation and Benefits
Base hourly rate commensurate with experience.
